Every local business owner faces the same wall.

Google controls who finds you — and just got ruled an illegal monopoly. Agencies lock you into contracts and report vanity metrics while your phone stays quiet.

Software automates your reputation and calls it strategy.

Promoters sell urgency. Advertisers sell reach.

Nobody sells results.

Consumers aren't doing much better. Every surface of modern life has been monetized. Most of it is invisible because it looks like normal life.

The Local Aim started as a local media outlet covering health and home services in Orange County.

Small business owners kept asking the same questions :

who can I actually trust? how can I get more Business?

We exist to answer that.

Kirby Blandino

FOUNDER, THE LOCAL AIM | LOCAL BUSINESS ADVOCATE SINCE 2013

I've spent over a decade watching honest local businesses get crushed by algorithms they didn't understand — and ignored by agencies that handed their reputation to a junior staffer or a bot.

I built The Local AIM to fix that.

What we actually do: We manage your Google presence, review velocity, and local search authority from the ground up. I personally lead the strategy and make sure every call gets done right. You get direct access to me — not a ticketing system, not an account manager you've never met. We use AI to move at 2026 speeds. Humans do the work that actually converts.

We work with contractors, attorneys, home services, professional services and health practitioners like cosmetic surgeons. Many who have already built something worth protecting. People who are done guessing and want to see exactly what their marketing is doing and why.

No vanity metrics. No black-box tactics. No long contracts. Just measurable results from a team that shows up.

Then we stay. Every month my team keeps working your customer list — generating fresh reviews, reactivating past clients, and strengthening the presence that brings new business through your door. You get the traffic, the calls, and the reputation. We handle the work that makes it happen.

Don't take our word for it. Do this:

Search: "best [roofer, dentist, attorney, etc.] in [your city]"

Try it here — opens in a new tab:

→ Google Search → Google Maps

See what comes up. See what it says about you.

See who it recommends instead.

We make sure you are always in that conversation.

About — The Local Aim
About The Local Aim

Built for the businesses that actually know their customers by name.

The Local Aim exists because local businesses deserve the same tools the big players use — without the agency overhead, the 12-month contracts, and the reports that don't explain anything.

How this started

I've been a Google Guide for years — the kind of person who obsessively tracks how local search actually works, not how it's marketed. A few years ago I watched a business with a clean, ten-year-old Google Business Profile get taken down without warning. No explanation. No appeal process. Just gone. And with it, the phone calls, the map placement, the visibility they'd built over a decade.

That moment made something obvious: most small business owners don't control their own digital presence. They depend on platforms that don't care about them, and they pay agencies who can't explain what they're actually doing.

So I built test sites. Health, fitness, home services — independent properties I ran specifically to study how AI search, Google's local algorithms, and review signals actually behave. Not theory. Real observation, real data, real results.

"The businesses winning local search right now built their authority six to twelve months ago. The window is open — but it's closing."

What I found is that the gap between practices ranking in the Map Pack and those that aren't is almost never about budget. It's about recency, consistency, and trust signals — things that don't require a massive agency retainer. They require the right system and someone who actually follows through every month.

That's what The Local Aim is. A system built around a media interview that warms every patient touchpoint, a review velocity approach that gets results in the first week, and a Google presence that actually reflects the quality of the business behind it.

Who I work with

I'm selective by design. I work with serious owners in six niches.

🦷
Dental Practices
Independent and group practices ready to own their local Map Pack.
🏥
Chiropractors & PT
Practices that earn trust through outcomes and need visibility to match.
⚖️
Law Firms
Attorneys building authority in a high-trust, high-competition local market.
🔧
Home Services
Plumbers, HVAC, electricians — trades that win on reputation and reviews.
Med Spas & Aesthetics
Practices where trust and visual credibility drive every booking decision.
📊
Financial Planners
Advisors who build long-term client relationships and need local authority to match.

How I work

Every engagement starts with a media interview — a published feature on The Local Aim that gives us something genuinely useful to work with. That interview clip becomes the opener for every patient outreach sequence. It's why our review response rates run at 25–40% instead of the 3–5% you get from a generic automated blast.

I don't work with practices that are on the fence. The filter question I ask every potential client is simple: "Are you serious about being the best practice in your area?" The right answer is immediate. If it isn't, we're not a fit, and I'd rather tell you that upfront than waste both our time.

You win. Your clients win. Their customers win. That's the only model worth building.

I'm based in Costa Mesa, CA. I work with businesses across Southern California and nationally where the fit is right.
